Dyslexic High schooler

I finally have my schedule! My Junior Year of High school is only in a month. And I am so excited! I have the perfect schedule to boot as well.

1 Algebra II
2 AP US History
3 Chemistry
4 American Literature
5 Intro to art and Mixed Media (they are semester based classes)
6 chorale
7 Bible

the numbers are the hours. my school hours are from 7:55 – 3pm

I love school. I have already been collecting my notebooks and getting each design and theme figured out for the new year. I get giddy and anxious for school. but not for the homework. only the classes, friends, sports and being around people. I am so happy that I now have the ability to love school and not hate it. i would have missed out on a lot. The 2009 – 2010 Junior year starts September 8th

School for this year is done. Summer is upon us.

Spirit week is done. the winners of the competition were the Seniors of course then followed by the juniors sophmores and freshman. which is completely predictable.

but next year the upcoming juniors will be taking victory!

A week of competition, that underclass men can become victorious. This week is called Spirit Week.

A series of projects go on to receive points. the one with the most points at the end of the week wins.

the events are

• the Box ( making a space that is 10 ft tall and 6 ft wide, relating to the theme. This years theme “Created for a purpose”)
• Video (a film that is a minimum 5 minutes long, with a number of requirements, and has to be theme related.)
• scrap book (a scrap book of our class (10th grade) with a number of 50 pages.)
• Poster ( a huge poster that is hand painted. it also has to relate to the theme.)

• battle of the bands ( a group of people have to write their own song and lyrics. The Battle starts to day.)

i worked on the box. with being a dyslexic my creative abilities were able to help. knowing how to do a certain technique or just my opinion.

dress up days

• monday: clash/messy hair day
• tuesday:heroes and villains/character day
• wednesday: class day (your class picks the theme) sweater vest day
• thursday: Retro day
• Friday Black and Gold day (school colors)

• fear factor
• dodge  ball
• earth volleyball
• guitar hero
• chess
• ping pong
• eucher
