About

I was happy-go-lucky until I began school. I couldn’t comprehend what I was supposed to learn. I couldn’t learn to read.

My name is Jennifer smith. I am the author of dyslexia wonders.

I felt misunderstood and different from my friends and kids at school. There were a few students who felt the same way I did. None of us wanted to embrace our learning disability. I felt it was shameful and I refused to tell anyone that I had dyslexia

Today, I am a member of the National Honor Society and my GPA is a 3.75.

I wanted to help other kids that felt the way I did. I watched while they were treated differently by the other kids. To achieve this goal of helping others not to feel the same way I did, I established the Jenny’s Wish Foundation.

Proceeds from the sale of Dyslexia Wonders will go toward scholarships for students who struggle with learning challenges, as well as to grants to organizations specializing in education and youth development.
